 The sale of puppies and kittens is wrought with the possibility of dissatisfaction after sale. These “comebacks” relate to infectious disease and genetic disorders that may manifest soon or long after-sale but the new owners hold breeders responsible for such events. This talk will inform breeders of which steps to take in order to minimize the risk of infectious disease , genetic conditions and to protect them against actions if they do indeed occur. The features of a good purchase sale agreement will be discussed.
