Pyometra Treatment Options
Bitches with the dreaded diagnosis of pyometra need not necessarily be spayed. There are treatment options which involve either medical or a surgical flush approach. We personally prefer the surgical approach as it allows for quicker resolution of the problem has good outcome, is safe and has low relapse rate. See poster on the procedure.
